The Stanley Arms, Macclesfield Forest
Situated four miles east of Macclesfield, two peaks
(Shining Tor and Shutlingsloe) are in easy reach,
as are reservoirs if you go north to Whaley Bridge or east to Buxton.

The Fox House Inn, Hathersage
Three miles to the east of Hathersage, the Inn is above it on moorland.
You can walk to stations in the Hope Valley via edges, Ladybower
reservoir and the Derwent, or north-east to Sheffield town centre.

The Barrel Inn, Bretton
Bretton is north of Eyam on a spectacular ridge.
You can go south and east to Baslow and take a bus to Chesterfield,
or north through woods and the Derwent to Hope Valley stations.

The Cheshire Cheese Inn, Hope
Situated just north of Hope village, this Inn is ideal for Edale and Mam Tor
to the north west, or Win Hill and Ladybower reservoir to the north east.
